The BNB EA288 intercooler is manufactured for the 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI EA288 engines used in Volkswagen Golf VI/VII, Passat B7/B8, Jetta, Touran and Audi A3 models.
The EA288 platform is the updated diesel engine family developed following the EA189 emissions scandal. Intercooler damage in this engine family typically manifests as: increased exhaust emissions, DPF clogging and power deficit.
Manufactured with a 620 × 400 × 32 mm aluminium core and polymer tanks, this product successfully passes a 3.5 bar test pressure. OEM references: 1K0 145 803 N, 1K0 145 803 R, 5Q0 145 803 A.
